More than 10 years of international touring in Europe/UK and US with bands like Queens Of The Stone Age, The Dead Weather, Alice In Chains, Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Mark Lanegan Band, … Creature With The Atom Brain/CRAYON SUN driving force Aldo Struyf started writing songs with his new travelling companion Big Dave, who sounds like Mark Lanegan or his Holyness Nick Cave.
Aldo, who wrote plenty of songs for Mark Lanegan since Bubblegum/2004, got the hang of it and wrote all new songs with Big Dave’s vocals in his mind.
CRAYON SUN touches the torch of voodoo gospel mixed with psychedelic desert blues.
