Norwegian-Mexican artist and producer Carmen Villain makes atmospheric music made upof tapestries of field-recordings, acoustic instruments such as flute, clarinet, piano, andelectronics, culminating in her own distinctive sound combining elements of fourth world,dub and ambient.

Through an experimental approach to production and composition, theresults are often a mixture of an abstract soundscape rich in detail, permeated withbeautiful harmonies and melodies. Through a number of releases for labels such as Smalltown Supersound, Geographic North (USA) and Longform Editions (AUS), she has established herself as a distinctive name with a music-interested audience as well as with the critics. Her latest release, “Only Love From Now On” is released Feb 2022.
